Making his first NYCWFF appearance is Alex Atala, chef/owner of D.O.M. from São Paulo, Brazil, which currently ranks as the sixth best restaurant in the world according to The World's 50 Best Restaurants list published in Restaurant Magazine. Atala stands out from his South American contemporaries with his intermingling of traditional Brazilian dishes with French and Italian culinary techniques. This intimate sit-down dinner takes place on the 51st Floor of the Bank of America Tower at One Bryant Park—NYC’s second tallest skyscraper. Each couple attending the event will receive a copy of Alex's new cookbook, D.O.M.: Rediscovering Brazilian Ingredients (Phaidon, September 2013) to take home for a memory of this magical evening!
