On a Roll, NYCWFF's Salute to Oktoberfest, hosted by Andrew Zimmern presented by Pat LaFrieda Meats sponsored by Village Voice

If a trip to Bavaria is out of the question this fall, then join Travel Channel’s Andrew Zimmern for On a Roll featuring Pat LaFrieda Meats. Join him on an afternoon walk-around tasting showcasing cold brews and a variety of sausages for NYCWFF’s first tribute to Oktoberfest, the annual German eating and drinking holiday celebrated all around the world. Our version of Oktoberfest will take place at Studio Square Beir Garden, the 30,000 square-foot open-air event space in Long Island City. NYC’s number one wiener Crif Dogs will join some of Zimmern’s other chef friends from all over the city to bring their favorite German-inspired specialties and desserts. Zimmern will also showcase his newly released line of sausages created in conjunction with Pat LaFrieda Meats.  Don’t be surprised to see your favorite local German restaurant, shop or bakery owner showcasing one of their delicious creations at this event.
